At Chickadee, nature is all around you! The farm house, pre-cut trees, and Kids' Activities  are located in a magnificent hardwood forest.  If you would like to cut-your-own tree, 10 acres of tree fields are a short walk away, through the picturesque forest.  Saws and tree skids are available for you to cut and tow your tree back from the fields.   Then, our exceptionally friendly staff will shake your tree, for free, and if you choose, wrap it in our plastic-free, biodegradable netting ($4). Whether your "perfect tree" is pre-cut, or cut by you, everyone can have a walk on the Nature Trail.  The Nature Trail will take you through the forest where you will find approximately 10 stations of fun facts, quick games, and hands-on activities about nature. Finally, you can warm-up with a complimentary cup of hot apple cider.  Kids love to play the "old-time" games, like mini-golf, ball roll, bean bag toss and ring toss.  Families and friends often document their annual outing by having a photo taken in Santa's sleigh or at the many other photo opportunities on the farm.  A puzzle page or colouring book is provided for the kids and candy canes for all.  If you are looking to connect with nature and experience some healthy, memory-making fun, Chickadee Christmas trees has you covered!
There is no admission fee.  Complimentary treats and activities are for customers purchasing a tree or wreath. Thank you.
